Computer use in the EEB Department

The Kraus Natural Science Building is serviced by a wireless network and all students with a laptop can connect to it directly from all areas within the building. Desktop computers and printers are available in the first-year student Bullpen Room 1300 and in the Graduate Lounge Room 2060. The printers in 2060 have two-sided printing capability.

P2P file sharing of copyrighted material on campus is monitored and tracked. DON’T DO IT. Running any P2P software will generate a security ticket that we must follow up on.

Computers in 1300 and 2060 require logging in using your Kerberos account (the same as your e-mail). Be sure to select the umich.edu Kerberos realm as your login domain, and log out when you are done.
