Behind the Scenes Day presents a rare opportunity to see the inner workings at the four museums of the Ruthven Museums Building on the U-M Central Campus each year.
Items large and small, living and dead, were carried into the Museum of Natural History by science sleuths seeking to identify their prized possessions during ID Day.
The community presented all manner of disparate objects to experts at the U-M Museum of Natural History when it hosted the 15th annual ID Day October 9, 2011, including moon coral, a rabbit tail and pike weed.
