Fields of study

Walker received her master's degree in biology from Winthrop University in May 2010. As a graduate student, she spent two years researching evolutionarily-conserved mechanisms in the heart of the sea squirt, Ciona intestinalis. Walker is currently assisting with various projects in the lab.
