Sarah Cobey Sarah Cobey

Sarah is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Michigan. Her thesis is on the dynamics of influenza. She's lived in California, New Jersey, and Lao PDR. She doesn't do winters, but she's a sucker for a good research climate.

Leah Penn BorisLeah Boris
Leah is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan. Originally from Seattle, she now braves cold winters, hot summers, and mosquitoes to research wetland food webs in the wilds of rural Michigan.


Outside of school, Leah plays ultimate Frisbee for the Ann Arbor rec league and enjoys cooking great food.
