Professor Philip Myers, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology; Curator, Museum of Zoology and Professor Nancy Songer, Professor of Science Education, School of Education

What are two voices on the same research problem? What about this problem makes it transdisciplinary? Myers and Songer will draw from their different disciplinary perspectives in sharing contrasting views on a set of research problems illustrating both successes and obstacles. The work will conclude with insights on cross disciplinary and transdisciplinary research gleaned from over twelve years of collaboration that includes three large NSF grants.
