EEB events: Call for volunteers: BioBlitz 2013 informational meeting

We are conducting a biodiversity survey in Belle Isle with high school students from Detroit and we need your help!

The event is called BioBlitz and it usually consists of conducting a rapid biodiversity assessment. This year the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, School of Natural Resources and Environment and Western International High School are partnering up to conduct the BioBlitz on Detroit's Belle Isle. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 24.

If you are interested in learning more about the event and how you can help come to our volunteer meeting this Wednesday!

Volunteer roles: small group leaders: trees and shrubs, flowering plants, amphibians, birds/mammal, insects; supervisors/parents, assistants to the small group leaders; logistics group(material distribution, event flow, etc.); multimedia (recording, pictures).
