Fields of study
Morphological evolution, integration, morphometrics, skull evolution
Research interests
My current research is focused on the investigation of possible links between observed patterns of variation and covariation among morphological traits within populations and the morphological divergence of these traits after phylogenetic diversification, using the rodent skull as a model system.
Academic background
Major (Licenciate) in Biology at the Univ. Simon Bolivar (Caracas, Venezuela); Instructor/Researcher in Biology at the same university, from 1998 to 2000.
