Dr. Ammerlaan is in charge of labs and TAs for the department's introductory courses. Along with the Introductory Biology Office staff, he also handles course administration (grades, regrades, and make-ups). He is not currently running a research program.
Academic background
Dr. Ammerlaan received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. He was a lecturer for one year at UT before coming to the University of Michigan in 1995.
