Adeline Masquelier, Professor and Chair of Anthropology at Tulane University, discussed spiritual possession in Niger in her September 26 presentation with the Eisenberg Institute for Historical Studies. The talk, "Possession: Stories of Spirits, Loss, and Appropriation in Nigerien Schools," continued the Institute's 2013-15 theme, "Materials of History."
