ELI 392 is designed for upper level undergraduate students and NCFD  students who seek to increase their academic speaking and writing ability in the context of cultural themes.  Students will participate in academic  presentations and group discussions to build their communicative strategies and improve their effectiveness in interacting in academic and informal settings.  Students will explore the challenges of the academic writing process and focus on developing rhetorical structures, style and organization of argumentative writing within their disciplines.
