In many cases you will find that it is a necessary first step to fill out and turn in a form before any action can be taken on your behalf by the Department of English (ie declaring English as your major, taking an internship for credit, registering for independent study, etc.). The Department also distributes forms that provide further information on a topic (ie The Hopwwod Program, Earning a Teaching Certificate in English, Grade Grievance Procedures, etc.).
