Anne Curzan
Anne Curzan is Associate Professor of English at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses primarily on History of English, historical sociolinguistics, language and gender, lexicography, and pedagogy. She is the author of Gender Shifts in the History of English (2003) and co-author, with Michael Adams, of the textbook How English Works: A Linguistic Introduction (2nd ed, 2009). She currently also serves as co-editor of the Journal of English Linguistics.
