Elizabeth McCracken,a former public librarian, is the author of four books: An Exact Replica of a Figment of My Imagination, The Giant’s House (a finalist for the National Book Award), Niagara Falls All Over Again (winner of the L. L. Winship/PEN New England award), and the short story collection Here’s Your Hat What’s Your Hurry.  She is frequently a faculty member at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and has received grants and awards from numerous organizations, including eh National Endowment for the Arts, the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the Guggenheim Foundation.  Photo by Thomas Langdon.
