Canarium Reading: Joshua Edwards & Paul Killebrew


Joshua Edwards is the author of Imperial Nostalgias and Campeche, and the translator of Mexican poet María Baranda's Ficticia. His third collection, Architecture for Travelers, is forthcoming in late 2014. He's the recipient of fellowships from the Stegner Program at Stanford University, the Fulbright Program, University of Michigan, and Akademie Schloss Solitude. He directs and co-edits Canarium Books.

Paul Killebrew was born and raised in Tennessee. He is the author of two full-length collections, Ethical Consciousness (2013) and Flowers (2010), both published by Canarium Books. His chapbook, Forget Rita (2003), was published by the Poetry Society of America, and Ugly Duckling Presse published another, Inspector vs. Invader (2007). From 2008 to 2012, he served as a staff attorney at Innocence Project New Orleans, and he currently resides in Maryland with his wife and son and works as a civil rights lawyer.
