Middle English literature - Chaucer, Langland; medieval comparative literature (Latin, French); history of spirituality; religious literature (particularly lives of Christ).
Secondary Interests
Classical comparative literature (Greek, Latin); the epic; early Christian poetry; creative writing (poetry).
