LSA Faculty and UM students enrolled in LSA courses may checkout a wide variety of AV equipment for classroom use and for short-term loans. Sorry, no long-term loans! Our Checkout Center and Help Desk staff will gladly provide training and support using any of our equipment. Some of the equipment available at our loan centers includes:

  • Laptop Computers (Mac and Windows)
  • DV/HDV Video Cameras
  • Digital Photographic Cameras
  • Digital Audio Recorders
  • LCD Projectors
  • Video projectors
  • Small microphone systems
  • Document cameras

Available to LSA students, faculty and staff, Instructional Support Services’ Media Center provides professional quality video and audio equipment and a production and post-production facility. Additionally the Media Center has both a Mac and a PC classroom.  Please visit our Media Center page for more information.

To check out equipment from our centers, you must provide an MCard and be LSA faculty, student or staff.  While walk-in service is available, we strongly recommend that you reserve equipment at least a week in advance.
