ISS Media Center: Sound & Motion

The ISS Media Center has a wealth of production resources available to all LSA departments and students. The main concentration of our center is video and audio production and post-production, but many things fall under those very broad categories, including:

-HD Video Production
-Media Duplication & Conversion
-Non-Linear Digital Post Production
-Voice & Music recording
-Sound, Mixing & Mastering
-Video Compression & Final Output

Our center is equipped with all of your computing needs, including PC and Macintosh computer classrooms, 7 Collaboration Rooms, 5 high-end video Editing Suites, a Demonstration Room, sound and multi-use studios and a collaborative lobby space.

The Media Center is staffed and maintained by a highly trained and knowledgeable team of professionals and students. Whether you are a student with a class project, a faculty member who wants to include media production into your course, or a department looking to produce videos, our staff is ready to advise and assist you through every phase of your project.

At the Media Center, LSA faculty, staff and students (enrolled in LSA courses) will find all the tools necessary to produce a wide variety of digital media-based projects from narrative, documentary, experimental video, animation, audio design and recording, web-based podcasts and videos, website design, digital photography, image creation and much more.
