Development
The goal of LSA Development is to support, through fundraising, the educational priorities of the Dean and the College. Through direct appeals to Alumni and leveraging meaningful opportunities with donors, LSA Development researches, cultivates, and stewards gift opportunities for the College.
- Annual Giving
- Program and Department Annual Needs: We can help your unit raise money for its annual priorities via the following services: strategic planning, fundraising/appeal writing, promotions, solicitation mailings, analytical reports, alumni lists, address labels, and tracking.
- LSA Fund: The Fund raises annual dollars for the College's most immediate needs, which include program support, faculty support, and student support. The College promotes the LSA Fund through direct mail, LSAmagazine, electronic solicitations, special promotions,Telefund, and unit newsletters.

- Major Gifts: When the potential for a major gift ($100k and more) arises, the College’s major gift officers can help departments manage and finalize the giving process.
- Stewardship: Receiving a gift is only part of the relationship between a donor and the College. In the vital practice of managing gifts, LSA Development can assist departments with template donor letters, expressing thanks, and donor communication.
