    BS in Civil Engineering with second major in Environmental Studies (Honors Program) from Iowa State University, MA in International Development from Clark University, PhD in Natural Resources and Environment from University of Michigan.  Over three years as GSI, one year on Pilot Program staff; five years as Baits Houses Resident Director for International Students and three years on SNRE Graduate Admissions Team.  Coordinates residence hall academic advising and Summer Orientation academic peer advising.  Has co-facilitated Psych 405 “Social Justice in Community Settings,” and UC 170 “World, Community and Self: Intercultural Competence for the 21st Century” at UM.  Shares the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, as a contributing author to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Third Assessment Report: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability.  Ongoing research on global climate change impacts on wildlife in Asia, environmental justice and natural hazards, earthquake reconstruction, environment and development in India, and environmental education.
