Assistant Professor Open Search Advertisement
The Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, is seeking qualified applicants for a beginning Assistant Professor position with an expected start date of September 1, 2013. We are looking for a young scholar who will complement the interdisciplinary profile of the Department. The teaching load will be 2/2, including a mix of undergraduate and graduate classes in German and English. Requirements: near native fluency in German and English; familiarity with US system of higher education; Ph.D. in German Studies or related fields in hand by September 1, 2013.
