Our goal is to make as many as possible of the resources created for this site available for German students and teachers throughout the world. For that purpose, we have created this resource page, which contains links to all of the resources on this site that are of general interest, such as the "Interactive Grammar Tutor," the "German on the Web" link collection, essay writing and grading information (including instructions for typing "Umlaute"), a summary of Reading Strategies, Self-Study Advice and advice on Learning Strategies, etc. As soon as it becomes usable, a link will appear on the Resources page to an extensive image database which we are currently compiling.

Max Kade Haus Film Schedule

The Max Kade Haus will be screening a film for German students roughly every other Wednesday this Fall. All film showings are free and you are welcome to bring friends. All films will be shown at the Kade House at 8:00 pm in the 2nd floor lounge. All movies are subtitled in English unless otherwise noted.

Directions: take the "Bursley/Baits" bus to the Baits II bus stop. The bus leaves from CC Little on Central Campus every 10-15 minutes. Thieme House [in which the Max Kade House is located] is down the hill on the same side of the street as the bus stop [building names are on the buildings, but hard to see in the dark]. Go to the entrance on the right hand side of the building; if knocking loudly on that door doesn't work and your ID doesn't open it, go around the right side of the house, go up the small flight of stairs, and knock on that door; this is the door to the lounge where the movies are shown. Someone should see you when you knock there. Questions/need more directions: contact Beth Frysinger or Patrick Davis, the Kade House Head Residents, at frysingb@umich.edu or pfdavis@umich.edu.
