- my father's death, decisions that seem small
at the time but are important later
- meeting great friends in high and middle school,
forming relationships that will last a lifetime,
learning how to drive, high school graduation,
and now, being in college
- few and far between, yet I'd have to say dealing
with the possibility that my mom has breast
cancer and how my view of the world changed
afterward has been rather hard to cope with
- meeting certain friends, unfortunately drifting
apart from certain other friends, playing football
in high school, coming to Ann Arbor
- meeting my boyfriend and going away to college
- coming to college, time spent with family
- my experiences abroad, the many challenges
I face with my mother, my parents' divorce and
my father's leaving my sister and me, and the
time I spent chasing a dream in Boston
- graduating high school and making the team,
when I was elected to my governing position,
when I fell in love
- my birth, my car accident, and senior year
of high school
- my birth, graduation from high school, acceptance
to the University of Michigan
- receiving the life lessons taught by my parents/spending
time with the family,
- meeting my girlfriend and seeing how ugly
prejudice, racisim and intolerance can be
- graduating from high school, falling in love,
writing my first song
