Vicki Dischler teaches a variety of classes that reflect her interest in language acquisition, cultural studies, film, literature and psychology. These have included Contemporary German Society, German Film, Brothers Grimm and Classics of German Literature. Her German in Song course combines her experience arranging and performing music with her interest in language pedagogy to create a German A Cappella choir. She is the faculty director of the Max Kade House Michigan Learning Community in North Quad, where she teaches classes to prepare students for the annual Spring Break Trip to Germany.
