Sam Heidepriem grew up in South Dakota and attended Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, graduating in 2009 with degrees in Political Science and German. His major research areas include German Idealism, Romanticism, post-Enlightenment intellectual history, 20th century political theory, and aesthetics.
