  Landon joined the German department at the University of Michigan in Fall 2011. He received his B.A in Comparative Literature from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
  
  Academic interests include (keywords in no particular order): chronotopes, hetrotopias, ruins and rubble, post-war period (Baustellen, Unruhe, Staub), Das Historische Archiv der Stadt Köln, Elfriede Jelinek's "Das Werk, Im Bus, Ein Sturz," 'Provisorische Gebiete.
