History of Art Faculty and GSIs
The VRC provides digitization, cataloging, and image reference services to History of Art faculty and graduate student instructors (GSIs) in support of their teaching needs. VRC staff is also available to consult on preparing images for publication and to assist with self-service digitization equipment for quick imaging needs. Read more
History of Art Students
For students enrolled in History of Art courses, the VRC provides training in how to use the resources of the VRC and some periodic workshops.
As of Fall 2012, HART graduate students may use the image resources of the VRC. Staff are available to explain how best to use these resources. Please make an appointment to learn what content is available within your research areas. The VRC can be contacted at vrum@umich.edu.
Extra-Departmental Faculty
Some services are provided to extra-departmental faculty at the University of Michigan. VRC staff provides assistance with image reference and self-service digitization equipment when needed.
Non UM Scholars
The VRC assists scholars in their research needs and can help to direct them to other professional collections and in some cases, image owners.
