History of Art Faculty and GSIs
The VRC provides digitization, cataloging, and image reference services to History of Art faculty and graduate student instructors (GSIs) in support of their teaching needs. VRC staff is also available to consult on preparing images for publication and to assist with self-service digitization equipment for quick imaging needs.
History of Art Students
For students enrolled in History of Art courses, the VRC provides training in how to use our resources. Our staff is available to explain how best to use these resources. Please make an appointment to learn what content is available within your research areas. For a look at what we have in our archival collection check our Finding Aids page.
Digitization services are provided to extra-departmental faculty at the University of Michigan. VRC staff provides assistance with project planning, preservation and file naming.
Non UM Scholars
The VRC assists scholars in their research needs and can help to direct them to other resources and in some cases, image owners.
