Biography:
Sueann Caulfield specializes in Brazilian history, with a focus on gender and sexuality in the twentieth century. She has been awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship for 2007-2008 for her work on a book-length research project titled “Stretching the Boundaries of Legitimacy: The Transformation of the Brazilian Family in the Twentieth Century."
