award using this form. There is no deadline.
IHS
Janey & Melvin Lack Fellowship
The IHS and the Department
of History are delighted to announce the inauguration
of the Institute's Janey and Melvin Lack Graduate
Research Fellowships, funded by a generous
gift by Janey and Melvin Lack. These $5000
awards are designed to assist outstanding
graduate students in pursuing their dissertation
research, and may be
used to support appropriate research needs
-- including travel, reproduction expenses,
books, and other research-associated costs.
The Fellowships are also designed to engage
recipients actively in various Institute activities
adding richness to our programming and community.
Interested
a pplicants should read the full announcement
for complete application instructions, and
print the recommendation form for the faculty
advisor/dissertation chair. Deadline:
April 3.
