Teaching is an important element of the History PhD Program and GSI positions in courses taught by the department are assigned first to History graduate students and those in our affiliated programs. Consequently, we rarely recruit students from outside this pool. If we do have positions available, they will be advertised university-wide via the Academic Human Resources process. Students can register to receive email notices of new postings as they occur via the listserver.
