Congratulations to Ella-Natalie Rothman who has been awarded a 2006 Rackham Distinguished Dissertation Award for her dissertation,"Between Venice and Istanbul: Trans-Imperial Subjects and Cultural Mediation in the Early Modern Mediterranean." Natalie Rothman is a Fall 2006 graduate of the Doctoral Program in Anthropology and History and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. Her dissertation was directed by Professor Diane O. Hughes. |
