  Richard Antaramian is a Ph.D. candidate in the history department. As a winner of a Fulbright-Hays fellowship, he spent 2009-2010 academic year studying in Armenia and working on his dissertation,which focuses on the history of social and political relations in 19th century Ottoman Anatolia. Richard was also a recipient of a Rackham International Research Award for 2010, which funded a research trip to Turkey.
