Advising for History Concentration and Minor

We have convenient on-line scheduling for history advising appointments (Click here to schedule).
Faculty and staff advisors are available during specific hours throughout the week when classes are in session. If you are thinking about a concentration or minor in History, please come in to talk about the programs.

Staff advisor Kathy Evaldson is available for walk-in quick questions until 3:30 Mondays through Thursdays,
except during her scheduled appointments times (listed below).

Meet with history advisors to:

declare history concentration, preferably by the second term of sophomore year.

get approval for cognates, transfer, and study abroad courses

• learn about teacher certification in History

• do your senior audit for graduation, best done early in the senior year, or when a student has about 90 credit hours.

declare a minor in history

check on your progress along the way
