We
have convenient on-line scheduling for history advising
appointments (Click
here to schedule).
Faculty and staff advisors are available during specific
hours throughout the week when classes are in session.
If you are thinking about a concentration or minor in
History, please come in to talk about the programs.
Staff advisor Kathy Evaldson is available for walk-in
quick questions until 3:30 Mondays through
Thursdays,
except during her scheduled appointments times (listed
below).
Meet with history advisors to:
• declare history concentration,
preferably by the second term of sophomore year.
•
get approval for cognates,
transfer, and study abroad
courses
•
learn about teacher certification
in History
•
do your senior audit for graduation,
best done early in the senior year, or when a student
has about 90 credit hours. Seniors who will graduate in April or May should complete their audits by November.
• declare a minor in history
•
check on your progress along the way
