These
are a few of the reasons that draw students to
the Department of History which offers a flexible
concentration
and a focused minor in history. Our faculty
members number nearly 80 and are notable for their
expertise in a wide range of areas and for their
commitment to teaching and developing stimulating
new courses. History is easy to integrate into
an interdisciplinary plan of study and many courses
are designed from this perspective.
We invite you to explore our website, meet with
an advisor, visit faculty office hours, stop by
the main office in 1029 Tisch Hall, or elect an
interesting history class to find out why history
