Mary Shelly Mageski was born in Croswell, MI. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Comparative Literature from the College of Literature, Science and the Arts and Theatre Studies from the School of Music, Theatre and Dance. She enjoys tap dancing, puppetry (and puppet making), children's literature, clowning, circuses, and making cakes and cupcakes.
