College & Degree Requirements

The Honors Program and the College of LS&A requirements

Because Honors is a program within the College of LS&A, the requirements for earning the undergraduate degrees from LS&A form the basis of the academic career of every Honors student. As an LSA Honors student you will pursue the Bachelor of Arts (A.B), the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, or the Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (B.S.Chem). It takes 120 credit hours (124 for B.S.Chem) to achieve your degree. A credit hour is roughly equal to one hour of class per week during a full, 15-week term.
