Become an Honors RA
Interested in becoming an Honors RA? The process begins in the middle of fall semester. All students who will be in their third-semester or higher in the coming academic year are welcome to apply. The application process is conducted through the Housing Office (www.housing.umich.edu), and all interested in becoming Honors RAs should apply through housing.
The initial screening is done by housing, and then a second round of individual interviews are conducted by Honors personnel and current Honors RAs. Those who are hired are expected to commit to one year of service, with the option of a renewal for a second year assuming satisfactory performance.
