Honors Recommendations

To all LS&A Honors concentration advisors:

Please be aware that the Senior Auditor in the Honors Program office must receive all Honors recommendations for your department's graduates by a date that will be determined for each graduation period (May, August, and December). For Winter 2009 (May graduates), the deadline is May 8, 2009.

Honors recommendations can be e-mailed to lsa-hnrs-gradwork@umich.edu, or sent via campus mail to the Honors Program, located in 1330 Mason Hall, Box 1027, as a memorandum on official departmental letterhead.

For each student for whom your department is awarding Honors, the Honors office needs to receive the name of your department, the student's full name, the student's UMID number, and the level of Honors that you are giving to him or her (Honors, High Honors, Highest Honors, or no Honors).
