All HSSP students enroll in the program's two-semester core course, UC 105-106: Perspectives on Health and Health Care, I and II, which introduces you to an array of issues, perspectives, opportunities, and approaches to the health sciences. Students in UC 105-106:

• read articles on current developments in the health sciences

• hear from faculty and clinicians from a wide variety of fields

• attend two half-day clinical "Job Observations" each semester

• attend evening discussions with faculty, students, and staff from UM's health schools
