Call for Photos: India as I See it

Attention all photography lovers!

Have you been to India? Do you have photographs taken in India you think are worth exhibiting?

Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum is pleased to announce a call for photographic art to be displayed in an exhibit titled, India: As I See It, in our gallery spaces during Winter 2014.

Photographs must be of India—its people, places, sights, and celebrations.

Submission deadline: Sunday, January 4, 11:59 pm.

The CSAS is willing to offer students funding (by a reimbursements) of up to $45 for the purchase of frames and wires, and for printing photos. The funding is limited and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis until funding runs out. If you'd like to apply for possible reimbursement  funding, please contact Audrey Buswell at for more details.

Exhibition details

Eligibility: UM students, faculty, and staff, and community members

Criteria: Photographs must be framed in black frames. Works will be displayed on gallery walls; wires for hanging must be provided on the back of each work. Photos can be any size.
