How to Participate

Alumni will be an important part of linking the Informatics community at Michigan to the field of informatics. As you become leaders and innovators in informatics, we hope that you will take an active role in contributing to the continuing development and success of the concentration in Informatics.

Specifically, we are interested in connecting Informatics students and new Informatics graduates with successful University of Michigan alumni who are working in the field. We welcome your support in one or more of the following ways:

Jobs and Internships

If you or your employer is hiring students or graduates with skills in Informatics, please let us know; we will be happy to pass the information along. Please also remember to create an account with the University of Michigan Career Center for posting jobs and internships. Many students rely on their Career Center Connector database for their job and internships searches.

Presentations

Informatics students are very interested in hearing from informatics researchers and practitioners. If you are available and willing to deliver a guest presentation, please contact us with your proposed topic.

Success Stories

If you are a graduate of the University of Michigan who is involved in informatics related work, please contact us, and share your story. We are interested in hearing from graduates of any and all departments and schools within the University.
