LSA Faculty and UM students enrolled in LSA courses may checkout a wide variety of AV equipment for classroom use and for short-term loans. Sorry, no long-term loans! Our Checkout Center staff will gladly provide training and support using any of our equipment. Some of the equipment available at our loan centers include:
- Laptop Computers (Mac and Windows)
- DV/HDV Video Cameras
- Digital Photographic Cameras
- Digital Audio Recorders
- LCD Projectors
- TV Carts
To checkout equipment, you must provide a University of Michigan I.D., along with a course title and number to support your student, staff or faculty status. While walk-in service is available, we strongly recommend that you reserve equipment a week or two in advance.
If you have any specific questions, would like to make a reservation, or would like to request training, please telephone (734) 615-0100 or email us at lsa-iss-reservations@umich.edu.
Instructional Support Services operates a third checkout center for professional video and audio equipment. Available to LSA students, faculty and staff, the Media Center is a production and post-production facility and does not provide AV classroom support. Please visit our Media Center page for more information.
