The ISS Media Center is home to seven collaboration rooms. These rooms offer the ideal environment for group meetings, project planning, video editing, or other collaborative work.
Collaboration Rooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis to LSA faculty, staff, and students. Click here to reserve online. You can also call 734-763-1104 to reserve a room, or stop by in person at the ISS Media Center (2001 MLB).
The five high-end edit rooms at the ISS Media center are intended to be used for audio mixing, color correction and final edits (Full Software List).
First time users of the edit rooms must first take a short orientation. Orientations are carried out during weekdays with a limit of five people per session. The orientation is meant to cover how to use the rooms, configure the installed hardware, and familiarize users with policies and procedures. These orientations do not include training on editing software.
Orientation Session are given on a first-come-first-serve basis. at the following times:
Monday-Thursday: 10:00am, 2:00pm, and 7:00pm
Friday: 10:00am and 2:00pm

The ISS Demonstration and Post-Evaluation room, also referred to as the Demo Room is a multi-use space within our Main Center. The Demo room comes with 20 stackable chairs and 4 folding tables capable of being configured in any way you see fit. The room is equipped with Smart Classroom technology including HD video projection, Multi-region Blu-Ray DVD player, a document camera, VHS/MiniDV combo deck, iMac, and analog video and laptop connections. The demo room also features large stereo speakers and a subwofer for great sound. There is also plenty of white board space.
