Concentration
An undergraduate degree in Judaic Studies offers students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of international affairs, historical change and religious phenomena. The concentration introduces students to the history and cultures of the Jewish people, and explores the world from distinctive Jewish perspectives. Students are taught by a dynamic faculty hailing from many disciplines. The Judaic Studies concentration requires the completion of twenty-seven credit hours of course work that includes Jewish history, rabbinics, literatures and cultures and a fourth-semester language proficiency.
Exceptional students may elect to pursue an Honors Concentration. Such students must write a substantial honors thesis in addition to completing all college and program requirements while maintaining a 3.5 grade point average.
