The Frankel Center provides comprehensive interdisciplinary course of graduate study for students who seek a deeper knowledge of Jewish culture, society, history, and letters.
The M.A. in Judaic Studies provides a broad and balanced exposure to Judaic Studies while allowing students to concentrate on one of the following areas: Modern Jewish Literatures and Cultures; History & Politics; Rabbinics & Religious Thought; Hebrew Studies; and Yiddish Studies. All students are required to demonstrate a fourth semester proficiency in Hebrew or Yiddish and, upon graduation, sixth semester proficiency.
