As an interdisciplinary program, the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies brings faculty from many parts of the University of Michigan for collaborative scholarship. Faculty join the Frankel Center from departments and programs bringing understanding of how the Jewish experience has been influenced by other cultural and political forces. They also provide insight on how Judaism and Jewish culture has played a role in the development of many seemingly unrelated social, economic and political structures.
