The Frankel Center for Judaic Studies sponsors guest lectures, colloquia, conferences, exhibitions, and films, often in cooperation with other University units. These forums give scholars opportunities to present new research and debate ideas. Many of these events are open to the public and offer interactive occasions for students, faculty, and community members to connect with authors, scholars, and others who contribute to the growth of Judaic Studies and Jewish culture. To be considered for co-sponsorship funding, all requests must be submitted using this Funding Request Form. Please keep in mind the following when submitting a funding request that those wishing to receive funding from University of Michigan Judaic Studies must submit their proposals 6 weeks before the date of the proposed event/visit. Please be advised that all funding proposals must be reviewed by the Frankel Center Executive Committee.
