The Kelsey Museum's range of archaeological activities creates news of interest to both the academic community and the general public. Such activities include special exhibitions inspired by objects in the Museum's collections; Kelsey-sponsored fieldwork seasons in Egypt, Israel, Italy, and the Republic of Georgia; and conservation undertakings in the Kelsey conservation lab as well as in the field. See the press releases below.
The Kelsey Museum Newsletter, published twice a year, presents short illustrated articles on current exhibitions, research by Museum staff and University of Michigan students, and summaries of fieldwork sponsored by the Museum. The Newsletter archive goes all the way back to the first issue in 1987.
