Policies of the
Kelsey Museum
The mission of the Kelsey Museum is to serve the international academic
community, the University of Michigan, and the public through the research,
interpretation, conservation, and exhibition of its collections of artifacts
from the ancient and medieval cultures of the Mediterranean and through
fieldwork. As a public resource, the Museum has a corresponding commitment
to sharing the knowledge gained through fieldwork and other research with
the general public of all age levels and in all walks of life.
