  • Description: The first meeting of LHSP's Cooking Club will take place Sunday evening, 10/23/11, 7:30 pm in the staff kitchen, 2nd Floor of Couzens. Students will meet to share favorite recipes, cook and bake together, and dine together. For many, food is more than daily nourishment - it links back to fond memories and deep emotions. Cooking Club will be an opportunity to re-create flavors and memories in a new setting, with your fellow LHSP students. It will also be a creative outlet, as you experiment with new ideas. Participating in Cooking Club will be purely for FUN. No points earned or lost, simply a way to spend time with other LHSP students enjoying the social, cultural and very practical aspects of food. Sunday night, Cooking Club will be making Halloween treats in preparation for the Halloween Ball next Tuesday night.
