LHSP is open to all incoming first-year students and is one of several Michigan Learning Communities on the UM Ann Arbor campus. After being accepted to the University of Michigan and paying the enrollment deposit, students receive a "Housing Application" that contains an application for the Michigan Learning Communities. This is an on-line application and requires a separate essay. Please submit both your LHSP application/Housing application in a timely manner because space in LHSP is limited.
